Act Fast
Although  stains can be very stubborn, they can almost always be removed if dealt with promptly and properly.

First, act quickly. The sooner you get to the stain, the more likely you are to get it out.

Blot and Scoop
Always blot liquids with a cloth.
Work from the outside in so you don’t spread the stain.

Scoop up solids, like a dollop of tomato sauce, with a dull-edged knife before blotting.
